"Treetop Feeder"
The Giraffe is the tallest land mammal growing up to 17 feet tall. The long neck and legs allow it to utilize its own niche in the food structure and therefore escape competition for food. These foods are unavailable to other large herbivores. The groups disperse widely while browsing, but are able to keep visual contact and can spot predators from a some distance.
