"It Sees Everything!"
The Hyena is incredibly opportunistic in its foraging habits. It will scavenge wherever and whenever possible. As a predator, it has the uncanny ability to always select the most accessible prey, either a calf, an injured adult, or simply an animal that allows it to approach too easily. It usually hunts alone or in pairs. As a last resort, a lone hyena can even capture and kill healthy adults as large as a wildebeest.
